Eric Lidji, director of the Rauh Jewish Archives at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, will be giving a one-hour presentation “The Archive and the Community.” This talk will profile the archive, showing how it emerged from a large, deeply rooted, and intricately interconnected community and how that community influences everyday interactions and decisions at the archive. He curates its website “The Jewish Encyclopedia of Western Pennsylvania” and hosts its local history podcast “The Cornerstone.” He writes and speaks extensively about Jewish history of Western Pennsylvania for local audiences.
