QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS
MEMORIAL GIFTS
PLANNED GIVING

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

A QCD is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA custodian, payable to MARAC, a 501(c)(3) qualified organization. QCDs can be counted toward satisfying your required minimum distributions for the year, as long as certain rules are met. In addition to the benefit of giving to MARAC, the QCD will reduce your taxable income by the amount donated. Please contact your IRA’s custodian (where your IRA is held) for the step-by-step process to make a QCD.

Memorial Gifts

Financial gifts in memory of a friend or loved one are a wonderful way to honor that individual and to support MARAC. These unrestricted gifts ensure a legacy for the individual, as well as funding essential to the viability of programs for future members. If there is someone who should receive notification of your gift, please be sure to include contact information; notifications do not include the gift amount.

Including MARAC in your plans will ensure a strong, supportive association for generations to come. Please contact the MARAC Development Coordinator at [email protected] to let us know of your intent so that MARAC can recognize your generosity as part of the MARAC Legacy Society.
