The Program Committee for the Harrisburg Spring 2025 Meeting invites you to propose sessions that will engage, enlighten, and inform our members during this very special visit to the Capital City of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania - The Keystone State. Our theme is: Harrisburg: Crossroads and Bridges in Archival Practice, which is intended to reflect the diversity of institutions, practice, theory, perspectives, and the profession itself.

MARAC meetings have a strong tradition of bringing accessible sessions to practitioners from all levels of the archives and information professional fields.  Are you a volunteer archivist with on-the-job training, an administrative archivist with years of experience and education, or somewhere in between? All are welcomed and encouraged to participate! We are looking for a great mix of people to participate and promote the exchange of ideas. As you draft your session proposal, think about the various archival functions and types of repositories represented in each session and the professional and personal perspectives that presenters bring based on their personal experiences and the institutions where they work.

Do you have an idea, but you want to workshop it or see if anyone else is trying to work on the same thing so you can build a collaborative session? Feel free to use the Session Brainstorming & Connections spreadsheet to connect with colleagues as you work on session proposals!
