Delaware Caucus Summer Picnic at the Hagley Museum and Library Picnic Pavilion (directions below). Rain or shine—the Pavilion is covered.

This year we’d like to expand our picnic so folks in our area can get to know MARAC in a low-key setting. Got a summer intern? A pal at your work? Someone who is not a MARAC member but might be interested? Bring them along! Please just be sure to let me know how many are coming when you r.s.v.p. so I can provide the right amount of food. 

Delicious sandwiches will be provided, along with some sides, sweet treats, and drinks. Additional contributions appreciated but not required. If you have any particular food needs/restrictions or suggestions, please let me know.

Directions to Hagley Picnic Pavilion on Workers’ Hill:

At the intersection of Routes 100 and 141, follow Route 100 (Montchanin Rd) north to the first traffic light. Turn right onto Buck Road east (there are signs for Hagley here) and proceed until you reach a stop sign. (The Hagley gate will be in front of you, but you are not going through it). Turn right at the stop sign, following the sign for Christ Church. At the next stop sign, turn right again. Make a left at the sign that says Private Road-Sexton 501 (the church will be on your right). Follow the narrow road past houses and this will take you to Workers Hill. Just before the Belin House on your right make a right onto the road. This road will lead you around near the pavilion and parking. There is no need to pay the Hagley museum admission fee to enter this part of the property. Follow the signs for the MARAC picnic!
